Antoine Reuben Diavola

Antoine Reuben-Diavola (originally from Richmond, California) is a professional musician from San Francisco Bay Area. A student of the musical arts since the age of 9 years old, Antoine has played a wide range of musical instruments and styles ranging from the laid back smooth sounds of jazz, to the chaotic ultra fast blast beats of extreme metal. Antoine first gained notoriety in 1997 for his dynamic live drum work playing in the underground black metal band Black Goat. After the split of Black Goat in 2002, Antoine was asked to join the San Francisco based thrash band Hadan, that also featured ex-Black Goat guitarist Robert Williams (UBZUB, Weakling, Artificium Sanguis) at the time. Antoine toured the western United States with the band Hadan until their hiatus in 2005 spurred by the departure of their vocalist Ian Deaderick. Antoine also gained notoriety as the touring drummer with the band Slough Feg (The Lord Weird Slough Feg) throughout 2006-2007, including appearances at SXSW and the first annual Alehorn of Power festival in Chicago, Illinois. Still an active drummer, Antoine currently releases music under the aliases Diavola, Bit.Krusher, and produces hip hop music for the groups Emetic Landscape and Tha Glitch under the alias DJ Monte Carlo.
