Annelise Hope Manojlovic (born 18 October 2001 in St. James Hospital, Leeds, West Yorkshire) is a child actress who has been playing Gabrielle Thomas, in ITV's Emmerdale since the character's birth on 25 December 2001. There is some confusion as to the spelling of her name, as in earlier press releases her name was "Annalise Manojlvic", whereas today it is known as "Annelise Manojlovic". (July 2007) Attends Scala Theatre School in West Yorkshire, alongside fellow Emmerdale youngster Connor Lee (TJ Woods) Annelise is currently the longest surviving child star in the popular Yorkshire soap. She has been with the programme since birth. "She is adored by all the cast," said Anita Turner the soap producer. |
