Cherupurat Parakkal Bhadrakali Temple (popularly known as Annassery Bhadrakali Temple) is a Hindu temple at Annassery, Kozhikode district, Kerala province, India. This is one of the most ancestral home temples in Kozhikode, administrated by “Cherupurat and Parakkal family members”. Bhadrakali is ferocious to those who practice Adharma, she is merciless to them. To those who practice Dharma, she is the kind mother. She is the protective mother who will never let any harm happen to her children. The idol at temple has four hands with various attributes. One hand holding a sword, trident, drinking bowl, damaru, another skull necklace and anklet. Bhadrakali is often worshipped in three different forms such as Maha Saraswati (goddess of knowledge), Maha Lakshmi (goddess of wealth), Sri Durga/ Parvathy (Goddess of power). Monthly puja at the temple is first Sunday of every month in Malayalam calendar at 04:00 am to 09:30 am local time.
