Angela Wendland, born on 11 October 1989, is a Korean-born American spokesmodel and international brand ambassador. Wendland is also known as one of the four reformers of Alpha Beta Psi sorority.
Education
Wendland holds a Master of Arts and is also an International Baccalaureate diploma recipient. She acquired her undergraduate degree in English at Longwood University where she and three other students devoted themselves to successfully reforming the school's first non-Panhellenic sorority in 2008.
Career
2015: Formula Drift
Wendland's "first professional shoot", aside from her baby modeling days overseas, took place at the Hoonigan Donut Garage in Long Beach, California in 2015. There, she introduced herself to racing fans via Vimeo as the newest brand ambassador traveling on the international 2015 Formula Drift Pro Championship circuit.
Representing both KW Automotive North America and Suspension Techniques, Wendland rode alongside Asian touring driver Charles Ng at the Formula Drift World Championship Opening Ceremonies in Montréal, Canada. Wendland appeared in a commercial for KW Suspensions and was also selected to represent Scion at its iA/iM launch event as an auto influencer later that season. Wendland gained notice and was named one of the "Best 2015 Formula Drift" umbrella girls by Wheels and Heels magazine.
2016: Auto Shows of North America
Immediately following the end of the 2015 Formula D season, Wendland was hired by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles as a national auto show spokesmodel and specialist for Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo. She helped introduce the 2017 Giulia Quadrifoglio in its North American debut at the 2015 LA Auto Show. Wendland was pictured as one of the "best in the show" with a strangely period-accurate look that stood out from "booth models" of the past. She continues to speak in several major cities, most recently promoting newest sponsor at the 2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
Additional Ventures
Wendland has also appeared in music videos Love is Overrated by MTV artist Shwayze and Lies Spread Like Fire by Hollywood rock band, The Killing Lights.
