Angela Beaumont is an Australian artist who lives in Wingham, New South Wales, Australia. She paints a diverse range of subject matter and is known to use vibrant colours in her work. Growing up near the sea on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, she is known to regularly paint seascapes. In 1973-76 she attended the Alexander Mackie College of Art, at East Sydney Tech, majoring in painting graduating with a diploma of art in 1976. In 1977 she received a diploma of Education in art, at Sydney Teachers' College. Whilst also exhibiting in group exhibitions, such as the Packsadle exhibition at New England Regional Art Gallery, she has also held solo exhibitions such as "A Painted Life", at Manly Art Gallery And Museum, Sydney, 2000. Several major solo exhibitions of her work have been held in the Manning Valley, including a mini-retrospective in 2004 at Brush Gallery in Wingham and exhibitions at Manning Regional Art Gallery, in Taree. She also regularly exhibits in the local Walkom exhibitions, in Taree. She is also known for her recent series called Pilgrimage, artworks which are based on her visits to England, Bali and India and the contrast of climate and culture that she experienced.
