The Anchorage Folk Festival is an annual music festival held in Anchorage, Alaska at the Williamson Auditorium. It most commonly occurs in the month of January. It features performances from a wide variety of solo artists and musical groups. THe festival also provides workshops for people interested in music, that are held in held on the University of Alaska Anchorage campus in Sally Monseraud Hall, the Professional Studies Building, and the Wendy Williamson Auditorium. It is free to the public and supported solely by volunteers and donations. There are no auditions for the acts as anyone can apply.
