Anartism

Anartism is generally defined as a socio-psycho-political-economic philosophy that holds the categorical distinctions in art to be undesirable, unnecessary, or harmful, or, alternatively, as opposing authority or hierarchical organization in the conduct of art. Proponents of anartism, known as “anartists,” advocate conviviality and pragmatic culturally embedded discourse based on non-hierarchical, non-archival quality, voluntary association. <reference/>http://anartism.wordpress.com/about/</reference>
There are many types and traditions of anartism, not all of which are mutually exclusive. Anartist schools of thought can differ fundamentally, supporting anything from extreme individualism to complete collectivism. Strains of anartism have been divided into the categories of social and individualist anartism or similar dual classifications. Anartism is often considered a radical left-wing ideology and much of anartist economics and anartist legal philosophy reflect ambivala-gallerist interpretations of expressionism, collectivism, syndicalism, or participatory practices. However, anartism has always included an individualist strain, egoist strain, and government sanctioned free market strain. Some individualist anarchists are also socialists or communists while some anarcho-communartists are also, obviously, individualists.
Anartism as a mass social movement has regularly endured fluctuations in popularity. The central tendency of anartism as a social movement has been represented by anarto-academics\s and anarto-gallerists, with individualist anartism being primarily an odd phenomenon which nevertheless did have an impact on the bigger currents of anartism and individualists have also participated in large anartist organizations. (We call that the world.) Most anartists oppose all forms of aggression, supporting self-defense or non-violence (anarto-pacifism] while others have supported the use of some coercive measures, including useless criticism and propaganda of the deed, on the path to what they believe is an anartist society. (They are, of course, wrong.)
