Amy McBride Richardson

Amy McBride Richardson is a member of the contemporary Christian vocal group Avalon, with whom she has been recording and performing since mid-2009 after replacing member Melissa Greene. She is also half of the group Jeremi and Amy Richardson. Amy has toured throughout the United States, Jamaica, Bermuda, and Israel. Amy is married to Jeremi Richardson and they have three daughters.
Biography
Born in Virginia on February 7, 1978, she was raised in Galax, Virginia. Amy began singing in church. In 1997 she was crowned Miss Roanoke Valley part of the Miss America pageants in Roanoke, Virginia. Amy studied broadcast journalism at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. While at Lee University she sang with the Lee University Campus Choir.
