---Details On Unions Representing Portland Oregon EMS Workers---

Amalgamated Transit Union 757 - an international union with local 757 in Portland Oregon this union negotiated and ratified a contract with AMR

Northwest Paramedic Alliance - a re-creation of previous EMS associations in Portland, this was an attempt to self unionize. NWPA never got a contract agreed to before being decertified.

Amalgamated Transit Union 757 - took back EMS workers who previously had decertified them, got two back to back contracts with AMR before being decertified again

National EMS Association - got two tentative agreements with AMR however one was voted down, the other votes were never counted due to disclaim of interest by NEMSA in Portland EMS workers.

International Brotherhood of Teamsters - currently representing this BU with 2008 ratified agreement.
