Amir Siraj (born February 19, 2000 in Boston, Massachusetts) is a Arab American pianist. Career Siraj is a pianist who has publicly performed solo, chamber music, and as a soloist with orchestra. At the age of twelve, he won the Metrowest Symphony Orchestra Young artist competition and was granted the right to perform with them. He played Beethoven's Concerto No. 3 Mvt. 1. In 2012, Siraj placed third at the prestigious Chopin International Competition in Hartford. In addition, he has premiered Dr. Larry Bell's Etude Op. 109, No. 7 at the New England Conservatory Preparatory school Contemporary Music Festival 2011, as well as the piano trio Clap Your Hands by Stephen Feigenbaum, at the New England Conservatory school's fall Chamber Music Festival, 2012. Life Siraj resides in Brookline, Massachusetts, and currently studies under Helena Vesterman. He also attends Chamber Music, Advanced Piano Seminar III, and Music Theory at the New England Conservatory Preparatory School.
