Early Life 

Born Amber Adriana Helena Rives(Model,Actress,Singer/Songwriter)born 19 April 1988 or 1989 in Seville,Spain.Born to a Spanish/Puerto Rican mother Jesenia and an Irish father of Cuban desent.When Amber was 6 her family moved to Ireland.

Career

In 2000 while on holiday in her native Spain,Amber was spotted by a talent scout from the Irene Marie Modeling Ageny in Miami who flew her&her mother back to Miami where the 12-year-old agreed a contract.She began modeling for the agency at the age of 15.Just one year later she became the youngest model ever to appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated,later appearing on covers of Teen Vogue,Seventeen Magazine&Ocean Drive.By the end of 2004 the model had the opportunity to become the world's youngest ever supermodel when offered a deal reportedly worth $14million,but the starlet rejected opting to remain loyal to her agency.In 2007 the stunning beauty was featured on the 50 Most Beautiful People In The World.She is currently focused on music working with Usher Raymond,Robin Thicke,T-Pain,Michael Jackson,Mario and Beyonce Knowles on upcoming projects.

Tragedy

In 2001 tragedy struck the young star as close friend Aaliyah Haughton was killed in a plane crash in late August after finishing filming the music video for 'Rock The Boat'.Three weeks later while visiting Aaliyah's grave in New York City 13 year-old Amber witnessed the shocking events of 9/11.8 months to the day after Aaliyah's death tragedy struck again as Lisa'Left Eye'Lopes died in a car accident in Honduras.In late 2007 she returned to Ireland after visiting her new born godson Usher Raymond V,and learned fellow model Katy French was in hospital and sadly passed away a week later.

Acting

The model has also tried her hand at acting landing roles in How I Met Your Mother,CSI:Miami,CSI:Las Vegas,Veronica Mars & Las Vegas.She has also appeared in music videos for Bobby V,Justin Timberlake and Tracy Byrd.

Music

The star's songwritnig talent shone through after Aaliyah's death.She released a tribute song to the fallen angel entitled 'I Miss You' which she co-wrote with Aaliyah.Since then her talents have been in high demand writing tracks for stars including Aaliyah,Alicia Keys,Avant,Aventura,Bobby V,Beyonce Knowles,Babyface,Destiny's Child,Danity Kane,Keri Hilson,Justin Timberlake,Christina Aguilera,Timbaland,Tiffany Evans,Tamia,Nicole Scherzinger,R Kelly,Ciara,Solange Knowles,P Diddy,Tyrese,Mario,Eve,Jay-Z,Plies,Ne-Yo,Samantha Jade,Mary J Blige,Cassie,Rihanna,Ashanti,Nelly,Michael Jackson,Chris Brown,T-Pain,Kanye West,Jennifer Lopez,LeToya,Lionel Richie,Kelly Rowland,Leona Lewis,The PussCatDolls,Robin Thicke,Pharrell,Will Smith,Usher and many more.Currently working with Usher on the follow up to 'Confessions'which she has said is almost complete.She was reportedly furious with super-producer Polow Da Don for leaking "Love In This Club" and "Moving Mountains" which the model wrote with Usher for his upcoming album "Here I Stand".She has also revealed that she has written up to 15 songs with Dre & Vidal for the follow-up to the smash hit "Confessions" album.

Rives currently resides in Miami,Florida and with friend and fellow supermodel Tyra Banks in Manhattan,New York.
