Characters

Godslug is the AmazingSuperPowers.com mascot. He was born as a collaboration between the site creators, and can be seen at the top of the site slowly undulating back and forth. Characteristic elements include a dead stare, drool, oddly-spaced eyeballs, and an overall sluggish appearance. Every time the page is loaded, the slug appears in a random costume, usually mimicking well known characters, archetypes, and historic figures, such as Fidel Castro, a magician, and D-Fens.

Grumpy Fish, a slightly-grumpy, bored-looking fish that has sudden revelations from his vantage point of a cramped fishbowl.

Other Characters, some characters tend to make repeat appearances throughout the comic, such as policemen.

Easter Eggs

Each comic usually contains two Easter Eggs. The first is the alt-text that appears when cursor-hovering over a comic. It is usually a comment from the creators on the strip. The second is a clickable region within the comic itself which displays an image related to that comic, such as a sketch.

Special Features

The site also has a section dedicated to special features, which are collaborations between Wes and Tony that display the same brand of humor as seen in the comic. These appear in numerous media fromats, including photographs, animations, videos, and drawings. Some special features include:

Gibson MacReady, an animation that appeared on the front page of Newgrounds.

It's Carl, a sketch comedy series about an alien imposter working in an office environment.

Sketch Depot, a repository of drawings, including etch-a-sketch art and pencil drawings.
