Allison Roberts aka Coco Brown is an Afro-Caribbean Canadian, entreprenuer. She grew up in Trinidad & Tobago and later moved to Montreal to pursue tertiary education. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Graduate Certificate in Management Accounting from Concordia University, and an MBA from HEC Montreal. In 2012, the Montreal Gazette recognized her as one of the top 20 Montrealers for the year. Business enterprises In 2010, she launched Le Piano Rouge soul lounge - a live music venue in Montreal, Canada. It was ranked by the Montreal Gazette as one of Montreal's top nightspot for live music. In February 2011, she co-founded Afrophilya, an international bi-annual music festival that coincided with the celebration of Black History Month. Afrophilya is a contemporary view of Afro Culture and celebrates the artistic contributions of people of African descent to world culture.
