Alexis J. Williamson is an American Ice Dancer and Photographer. She trains in Detroit, Michigan and currently skates with Vitaly Novikov. Images Originales Photography is the company that represents her work in the United States. Miss Williamson is an award-winning artist with special interest in fine art imagery. Born in 1981 in Barrington, Illinois, she graduated from Lake Forest College, Lake Forest, Ilinois in 2003 with High Honors in French and Economics. Williamson studied further at Columbia College Chicago in photography and at The Art Institute of Chicago in art history. Images Originales Photography focuses on Event, Wedding and Fine Art images. Portrait work and landscape as well as architecture are in the portfolio of Miss Williamson. Her studies abroad include work in Paris, France, where she lived and worked as a photographer in 2002-3. Ice dancing at the senior level includes competition this season, 2007-08, at the United States Midwestern Sectionals and the United States National Championships in St. Paul, MN. Miss Williamson currently trains with Coach Natalia Annenko-Deller, a world and olympic competitor, and has studied with Sasha (Alexander) Zhulin, world champion and olympic medalist. Miss Williamson's previous partners include Jim Swanson, 1999, and Christian Wilson, 2002, with whom she was a National Alternate for the 2002 United States Figure Skating Championships in Los Angeles. In 2003-4 she skated with Yuri Kocherzhenko of the Ukraine and trained in Montclair, New Jersey with Tatiana Navka and Roman Kostomorov.
