Alex Mohajer

Alex Mohajer is an American political commentator for Huffington Post most known for criticisms of the 2016 presidential election.
Mohajer incited a national media controversy for his commentary on the 2016 presidential election, particularly an opinion editorial arguing that the 1994 federal court case of Bruce Marks v. Stinson offered instructional rationale suggesting courts could invalidate the election.
Mohajer was interviewed by The Washington Post regarding apparent disparity in gendered support for Clinton. “There is a sense if you outwardly support a woman you are less deserving of your man stripes,” Mohajer told the Post.
Mohajer, an LGBT advocate with noted pro-Clinton bias, became a noted figure in the LGBT movement supporting Clinton. Interviewed by Yahoo! News about LGBT support for Clinton, Mohajer said that the LGBT community, long considered outsiders, related to the struggle of the first female to make a serious bid for the presidency. LGBTQ Nation named his organization to the Top 8 People Working to Elect Hillary Clinton, along the likes of Ellen DeGeneres and Hillary for America campaign manager Robby Mook.
Throughout the campaign season, Mohajer received criticism from conservatives and liberals alike following a controversy where Bernie Sanders support groups on Facebook were temporarily shut down, which was was blamed on Mohajer's organization. In interviews for Paste Magazine and Daily Beast, Mohajer denied the allegations, which was later corroborated a statement issued by Facebook explaining that the Bernie Sanders pages went down due to a computer glitch. This lead to repeated accusations that Mohajer was an operative for Correct the Record, an organization that was accused of hiring paid social media users to represent Clinton online. Such allegations were not proven.
Mohajer was interviewed about the scandal on the Ann Walker Show, giving a detailed account of the episode on IHeartRadio on 27 April 2016.
He went on to produce and act in viral pro-Hillary video content, for which he was interviewed for the Huffington Post.
Post election, Mohajer drew the ire of conservative Alt-right media organizations like Breitbart News.
Mohajer's appearance on Tucker Carlson's program on FOX News sparked controversy when the two exchanged verbal blows. Carlson responded by referring to Mohajer as a crackpot and a Democratic party operative.
He sparked further controversy for a viral expose criticizing media narratives of the election outcome, arguing that Hillary Clinton did not lose the presidential election, and that she was rightful president-elect of the United States.
