Aleksandra Samusenko was a Soviet commander of T-34 tank platoon. Once the subdivision, where she served, was ordered to counterattack the enemy tank column. The driver of T-34, commander of whom was Samusenko, after meeting on his way three "Tigers", was scared shitless. Samusenko quietly, but decisively stated: "there is no road back for us" and the driver of tank mastered himself. However, enemy tank was hit by the first shot. Rest continued to go to the rapprochement. Fierce fighting continued for somewhat it was hour, but victory gained the tank crew of Samusenko. For the courage, shown in this battle, she was awarded with the Order of the Red Star. Samusenko died near Berlin.
