Alan Joseph J Caceres is an undergraduate student at CUNY Lehman College studying Computer Science. Currently participating in a research group with Dr. Katherine St. John doing research on Phylogenetic trees, he has a publication in Information Processing Letters and has just finished submitting a second to IEEE Transactions on Computation Biology. Along with those publications, he participated in a research group run by Dr. Nancy Griffeth and Dr. Flavio Fenton to help discover how computer modeling can assist in diagnosing Atrial Fibrillation(AFib) in individuals. The group also has a paper that has been accepted to the American Physical Society for publication.
