Alan Hercher (11 August 1965 - 10 August 2018) was a Scottish footballer, who played for Ross County, Caledonian, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Clachnacuddin and Brora Rangers. He was the first club captain of Inverness Caledonian Thistle, a club that was formed by the merger of Caledonian and Inverness Thistle in 1994. While with Inverness, he claimed many firsts for the club, all of which occurred on Inverness's first league game against Arbroath which included; * First league goal scored for Inverness Caledonian Thistle. * First Hat-Trick scored for Inverness Caledonian Thistle. * First captain for Inverness Caledonian Thistle. |
