Akshay Sharma

Akshay Sharma is an Indian Author and an Entrepreneur.
He published his debut book "The Flying Dreams" in 2018. Sharma has won Inspire to Change Award for his role in inspiring younger generations in Coimbatore. He has been one of the winners of 100 Inspiring Authors of India, in Kolkata, October 2018. His other Honors are: Emerging Author Of India 2018 in Bangalore, Sangamam Literature Award from G.C.T college, Coimbatore, in March 2019, and IIT-BHU HNORS from Varanasi, August 2019.
Early life
Akshay Sharma was born in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, and immediately after his first grade, his family shifted to Coimbatore
He received a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics from the INFO Institute of Engineering College in Coimbatore. Then he moved to Sambalpur, Odisha, to work at Bhushan Power and Steels Pvt. Ltd. for the next two and a half years. He then shifted back to Coimbatore and joined Zahoransky Machines, as an electronics engineer, for the next three years. In 2018, when he decided to become a full-time author, he had quit his job and focused to become a writer and an entrepreneur.
Writing career
Sharma's debut novel The Flying Dreams is based on a Psychological Thriller and a mixture of science fiction with fantasy elements.
