Akira Nishitani

, sometimes credited as Nin-Nin or simply Nin, is a Japanese video game designer formerly employed by Capcom. Best known for co-creating the popular Street Fighter II. He is the current President of game developer Arika.
Career
Joining the video game company Capcom in 1986, Nishitani worked on many of Capcom's early hit games such as Final Fight and along with , designed Street Fighter II (including two updates). The game had an unexpected impact on gaming and started the massive fighting game phenomenon. In 1993, sales of Street Fighter II exceeded $1.5 billion in revenue and the Super NES port was Capcoms best-selling consumer game of all time.
In 1995, Nishitani left Capcom to found the game development company Arika with other ex-Capcom employees. The first game they developed was Street Fighter EX.
