Ainsley Deer

Ainsley Deer Jr.(born May 5, 1985, in Kingston, Jamaica) is a professional soccer player who currently plays for Toronto Croatia in the Canadian Soccer League.
Career
He attended and played for Florida International University, (2005-2008), mainly as a left wing back, and sometimes as a sweeper and man marker.
College career (2004-2008)
After spending all his life in Kingston, Jamaica, Ainsley moved to Dunwoody, Georgia at the age of 18, after partaking in a trials with Georgia Perimeter College. He was a member of the Georgia Perimeter College soccer team; a junior college that participates in the National Junior College Athletic Association,(NJCAA), and he garnered all region honors. That year, (2004), GPC went on to have a 22-2-1 state and regional championship team, and were runner-up in the NJCAA national championship to Mercer Community College. It was at the NJCAA tournament that Ainsley was offered a scholarship to attend Florida International University. As a senior at FIU, Ainsley garnered Conference USA All Tournament honors as he lead his team to an unlikely run to the finals against Tulsa University. He was also named FIU's men's soccer team defensive MVP in 2008.
Toronto Croatia
In April 2009, after spending a month spell of trials in Toronto, Canada, Ainsley signed his first professional contract with Toronto Croatia for the CSL 2009 season. During the 2009 season Deer contributed by helping Toronto Croatia achieve a 12 game undefeated streak, and helped the Croatian side clinch a playoff spot by finishing second in the International Division. Deer recorded his first goal against city rivals the Serbian White Eagles, which ended in 2-1 victory for the White Eagles.
Personal life
He is the son of Ainsley Deer Snr. and June Agnes Cambridge. He has 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Graduated in May, 2008 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management.
