Aimee knight

Aimee Knight (born 04 June 1987) is an American Christian singer/songwriter and violinist. She was born in Orlando, Florida but grew up in her current hometown of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is best known for her hit single, Into Your Heart, that debuted on Indie pop charts in 1998 when Aimee was at the age of 11. She received immediate attention for her lyrical voice and ability to compose music that was far beyond her years. In 1999 as an eighth grader, she received the Colorado Youth Citizenship Award for her academic performance as well as her musical ability.

Aimee is the lead singer of Aspiration Band (formerly known as North Star), a Christian pop/rock group that tours nationally. Upon graduating from high school in 2005, she was recognized as one of the Colorado Springs Gazette's 25 Best and Brightest, featuring her membership in the band North Star.

Aimee is currently a senior on the Dean's list at Colorado College and will be receiving a Bachelor's degree in music in May of 2008. She is heaviliy involved in her community as the student president of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic Volunteers and as a worship leader at New Life Church. She teaches violin lessons in Colorado Springs and is planning to sign a record deal after graduating. Aimee enjoys figure skating, dance, and writing inspirational fiction. She is the niece of figure skating choreographers, Tom Dickson and Catarina Lindgren.
