AGN International

AGN International Ltd (AGN) is one of largest worldwide associations of separate and independent accounting and consulting firms. The association consists of over 200 member firms operating in 90 countries through approximately 480 offices. Each member operates under their own local or national name and remains autonomous. The individual members are all firms of good standing in their own countries, providing providing services in the audit, accounting, tax compliance and consulting arenas as well as general financial advisory services. The combined turnover of member firms in 2009 amounted to US$ 1.5 billion.
History
The association was formed on 1 January 1996 as a consolidation of two accounting associations, CKL International and IAA which between them had a total of forty years experience.
In 2002 the accounting organisation TAG International merged with AGN, adding members in a number of additional countries and cities additional. No further mergers have taken place.
Structure
AGN is a company incorporated in the United Kingdom with limited liability guaranteed through its member firms; it does not have a share capital.
The policies n are set by a board of directors representing the geographic spread of the organisation; the International Executive Office based in London, consisting of by a Chief Executive Officer and three permanent employees, is responsible for operations.
The first chair of the board was Guillaume de Saint Gerant of the Paris member firm Jean Arthuis et Associes. In succeeding two-year terms he has been followed by:

The Chief Executive Officer has been Nicholas C Blake since the start .
In order to provide the necessary local input, the association is divided into five separate regions
