Adz The Muse

Adz The Muse is a Zimbabwean-born Australian singer-songwriter based in Adelaide, South Australia. Her debut Single ‘Havoc’ released in 2020, caught the attention of many and she has since gained further exposure.
Biography
Also known as Ropafadzo Mukungwa, Adz The Muse sings about her personal experiences, emphasising on her love life, mental health and sexuality. In an interview she said "I want to start a conversation about the topics that make people uncomfortable...".
When asked about her stage name and its origin, she explained that she began as a content creator/Micro influencer on Instagram and was inspired after collaborating with fashion brand Sundae Muse.
She grew up singing and taking part in school choirs and church choirs and performed and has performed at community events like the Zillmere Festival (2018).
Growing up, her musical influences included artists like Tinashe, Tkay Maidza, SIA, Halsey and the likes.
When asked about her songs in an interview Adz The Muse said "I guess I don't hold back about my thoughts or feelings in my songs because that's the truth, that's how I’ve felt and I want people to know that they're not alone...”
She has also mentioned that all of her songs at current have been written and recorded in her bedroom as she works towards improving the quality of her work. She also explains that she did not have access to resources such as recording equipment, but felt that there was no such thing as waiting for the right now. She believes in sharing the process and progress in her work as she goes.
As of 2019, Adz was studying a Bachelor of Psychological Science and Bachelor of Media full-time at University, and hopes to become a Clinical Psychologist. She runs an Influencer and Model Agency named Isla management islamanagement.com and hopes to use her Media qualifications to expand it further.
