Adla Massoud

Adla Massoud (born Beirut) works as a freelance journalist based in New York City.

Previously, she worked as a newswriter for the BBC Television, Agence France Presse (AFP), United Press International (UPI), and as a features producer for Middle East Broadcast Television (MBC TV) in London. At MBC, Massoud produced for the 'Morning Show' a popular and controversial segment about the future of the Arab working women.

Massoud holds a BA in Politics and International Relations from the University of Kent at Canterbury and a Masters degree in International Journalism from the Graduate School of Journalism at City University, London. In 2004, Massoud founded and authored a blog called 'Ms Levantine',a journal focusing on Levantine politics. In addition to English, she is fluent in French, Arabic and Spanish.
