Aditya Tiwari (21 April 1998) is an Indian poet and LGBT rights activist. Early life Aditya Tiwari was born in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India. After attending St. Aloysius School in Jabalpur, he went on to study Journalism in New York. Career Aditya published his first poetry book - April is Lush in 2019. Through his writing, he explores a variety of themes ranging from politics, colour, intersectionality, age, queerness, gender, and revolution. His work has appeared in various publications. He has been an outspoken advocate for the LGBT community and uses his poems as a way of activism and rebellion. In December 2020, Tiwari performed at New Delhi's Rainbow Lit Fest, one of the largest LGBT literary festivals in India. Books * April is lush (2019) |
