Adhitya Iyer

Adhitya Iyer is an Indian entrepreneur who is the author of the self-published book The Great Indian Obsession: The untold story of India's engineers. Iyer was born in Mumbai. Later his family moved to Saudi Arabia. He did a few years of schooling in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia but returned to India with his mother for his education. He completed his schooling and also earned an engineering degree from Sardar Patel Institute of Technology which he attended from2007 to 2011. Adhitya realized that engineering was not his thing. He took up reading and got the motivation to start something of his own.His articles are seen published in various newspapers.
Background
Iyer founded Annanymous, a T-shirt brand selling engineering theme based T-shirts. After a few months, he moved to Bengaluru and joined the company Chai Point.
Book
Iyer decided to travel around India to collect background material for his book project, called The Great Indian Obsession: The untold story of India's engineers. He raised funds for the book through various jobs and a Kickstarter campaign.
The official book trailer was launched on September 12, 2015. The book is intended to publish profiles of individuals who have impacted the life of Indian engineers, and stories of students and engineering graduates from various walks of life.

He is recognized as one of India’s top 30 student Entrepreneur by National Entrepreneur Network.
