Adelynn Cupino (born Adelynn Rose Arce Cupino on January 20, 1982), is a beauty pageant titleholder. She was born in Vancouver, Canada to Roberto and Susan Cupino of Cavite City. Biography Education A graduate of Simon Fraser University (Vancouver, Canada), Cupino completed her Bachelor's Degree with a major in Communications. Early career Cupino won the title of Binibining Pilipinas (Miss Philippines) International of B.C. 2002, her very first beauty pageant, held in Vancouver. She was then selected to represent Canada in the Miss Petite International 2003 pageant in Houston, Texas as Miss Canada. She placed as one of the Top 12 Finalists and was also named Miss Photogenic. She was a fashion model to many charitable events, such as The West Coast Women's Show held in the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver. She then worked with photographers including Jin Custodio and Wilson Lau. She was also a modern hip-hop backup dancer and co-choreographer, performing with celebrities from the Philippines, including a concert with Filipino singer Gary Valenciano. 2004 Cupino won the title of Miss International Canada in 2004. Miss International is one of the most prestigious pageants in history, along with Miss Universe and Miss World. She is the only delegate to ever win the crown from British Columbia. She stood out among the contestants from all over Canada; who were judged, based on their intelligence, beauty, purpose of global goodwill, education, and personal merits. Becoming Miss Philippines, Miss Petite Canada, and Miss International Canada within three consecutive years make her one of the most successful representatives of Canada in the history of the Philippines. 2008-present Visiting her family in the Philippines, Cupino has been offered modelling contracts from various agencies, including Elan Models International, Eure Modelling Agency, and Mukha Models. Other job opportunities include the Living Asia Channel, as co-host, which will be filmed and aired in Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Oceania, the Middle East and North America. She is currently in the process of coordinating the Binibining Pilipinas of B.C. pageant. Her previous agent was Patrick Stark of Patrick Stark Talents and is currently under the management of Vancouver-based Star Media Productions, an affiliation of GMA Network. She is among one of the "Top 30 Hottest Females of the Philippines" poll, ranking #16. Miss International 2004 As Miss Canada, Cupino became involved in various community and charitable projects and activities, allowing her ideas and thoughts to thrive and evolve. She has been an active participant in educational forums in creative arts, social sciences, environmental and family projects. As Canada's representative in the Miss International 2004 pageant in Tokyo, Japan and Beijing, China, she was known as one of the "exotic beauties" of the pageant, and was recognized as "the most articulate candidate" among 58 contestants. Model / Extra Some extra castings include To Have and to Hold, Good Luck Chuck, The 4400 and Smallville. She was recommended for the role as Kristin Kreuk's body-double, auditioned, was chosen for a second audition, but lost the role to Jennifer Chan. Cupino has also done international commercials marketing popular brands such as Nokia, and been a local model for beauty and hair.
