Adebayo Adeleke

Adebayo Adeleke (born September 22, 1980) is a retired combat veteran of the United States Army, serial entrepreneur, security & defense expert, and an expert in supply chain management.
He is the founder and president of Supply Chain Africa (SCA). And the CEO of Adebayo Adeleke LLC, an organization provides advisory and training services in supply chain management, governmental services, and leadership.
Adebayo is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and as well a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) UK.
Adebayo also founded the Nigeria Food Security Project in January 2023. This project unravels the relationship between the identified factors of food insecurity and all actors along the food value chain in Nigeria. It also critically appraises the implications of these dynamics on national security and cohesion.
Early life and education
Adebayo was born in Ilesa, Nigeria on September 22, 1980. He completed his elementary education at Seventh day Adventist Nursery and Primary School, Ile Ife, Osun State Nigeria. For his high school education, he attended Seventh Day Adventist Grammar School, Ile-Ife and School of Science Ile-Ife.
Additionally, Adebayo earned master's degrees in procurement and acquisition management from Webster University, Missouri. In addition, he earned a master's in supply chain management from the University of San Diego.
Later, he reenlisted and was sent to the island of Okinawa, Japan, where he served in the 1st Battalion, 1st Special Force Group (Airborne), Okinawa, Japan, as a Property Book Officer Non-Commissioned Officer-In-Charge and Property Book Office Warehouse Non-Commissioned Officer-In-Charge. Adebayo returned to the United States after completing his duty in Japan, where he attended Officer Candidate School (OCS) at Fort Moore, Georgia.
After leading his contracting team to Amman, Jordan, Adebayo became the Regional Contracting Office's Chief of Contracting. He participated in Operation Inherent Resolve in Jordan and Levant from 2016 to 2017. Adebayo became Battalion Operations Officer and Deputy Chief of Business Operations at Mission and Installation Contracting Command in Fort Cavazos, Texas, after redeployment. Adebayo Adeleke left this job and the army at Fort Cavazos on December 1, 2018.
In addition, he is a participant in the bipartisan New American Economy, an alliance of mayors and corporate executives founded by Michael Bloomberg and Rupert Murdoch with the goal of swaying public opinion and lawmakers in favor of extensive immigration reforms.
Post military career
From 2018 to 2022, Adebayo lectured on supply chain management at Sam Houston State University following his retirement.
He spoke at the World Trade Organization Public Forum in 2022, and in 2023 he went over a UN report with other world leaders. At the Joint EUCOM/AFRICOM Deployment and Distribution Conference, he also gave a keynote address.
Supply Chain Research and Innovation Hub was established in 2024 by Adebayo through Adebayo Adeleke Adeleke LLC and Supply Chain Africa… and Ladoke Akintola University.

Personal life
Adebayo married Modupeore Adeleke in 2002 and they have three children.<ref name="br"/>
