Adam Klich

Adam Klich (born 25 December 1927 in Grybow, died 12 August 2022 in Krakow) - Polish scientist, professor of technical sciences, academic teacher in AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, and father of Bogdan Klich.
Life and Activities
Graduate of Jan Matejko General Secondary School in Wieliczka and AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. From 1954, he was a researcher and teacher at AGH. Klich obtained; Doctorate (1964), habilitation (1967), associate professor title (1974), and full professor title (1984). Klich was Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Mining and Metallurgical Machines, director of the Institute of Mining and Metallurgical Machines, and director of the Institute of Mining Machines (1982-1999).
Member and chairman of many scientific councils in Poland and abroad. Chairman of the Mining Mechanization Section of the Polish Academy of Sciences from 1990 to 2022. He was employed at the KOMAG Institute of Mining Technology-Gliwice until his death.
Adam Klich was the father of Bogdan Klich. Maciej Klich is his nephew.
