Adam Ioan Davies

Adam Ioan Davies, (born 5 January in Swansea, Wales) is one of Wales Canoe Polo's most promising youngsters, who was a member of the Wales U21s Canoe Polo team and is the current captain of Amman Valley Paddlers (A.V.P) Canoe Polo team. His position is normally Goal-Keeper but can also play defender or centre forward.
Davies was part of the Welsh U21s team in the 2007 Irish Canoe Polo Open Championship who won the Division 3 league, winning all 12 games to lift the trophy. He was also the captain of the A.V.P team who won the 2007 Canoe Polo Division 2 league, finally lifiting the trophy in the Welsh Open in Pembrokeshire (A.V.P going unbeaten in all competitions through the 2007 period).
A Welsh speaker, Davies has been the face and voice of the Celtic Crusaders on S4C during there National League 1 campaign in 2008. He has also featured on S4C's programme Uned 5 during 2008 and 2009.
Davies is the brother of Geraint Davies, who is a former player of Super League team Celtic Crusaders and National 1 team South Wales Scorpions. He currently plays for French Rugby League outfit Limoux Grizzlies in the Elite 1 Championship.
