US District Court Judge Reggie B. Walton on January 31, 2007.

On April 17, 2007 the Department of Justice listed his habeas petition as one which should be deemed moot, because he had been transferred from US custody.
Official list
The Department of Defense initially refused to release the identities of the Guantanamo captives. But the DoD was forced, by court order to release a list of the captive's names on May 15, 2006.
Abdalhadi M. Al-Sopai's name is missing from the official lists, at least by that spelling.
