Aarti The Unknown Love Story is a Marathi drama film with a planned release in 2017. It is based on a true story. Summary Aarti The Unknown Love Story is based on the story of Sunny Pawar who spent several months watching over his girlfriend Aarti Makwana when she was in a coma in hospital following a car accident. It is Sarika Mene's directorial debut under her movie studio name Saraah Creation. Plot Aarti Makhwana and her boyfriend Sunny Pawar are in their early 20s. Aarti is in a car accident which results in severe brain injuries. Sunny spends the next 4 months in the hospital with Aarti. When she is released, he moves in with her, and spends the next few years approaching charitable trusts to raise money to fund Aarti's medical expenses while taking care of her by himself. Aarti eventually dies from pneumonia. The heart-broken Sunny decides to devote his life to social services. He does his MBA in Social Services and helps children to gather funds for their studies.
