A Chapter of Men

A Chapter of Men is an upcoming Canadian post-apocalyptic short film due for release on March 31st, 2012. The film will be submitted into the Your Film Festival, a partnership between YouTube and British film director Ridley Scott.
Directed by award-winning Canadian director Jared Pelletier from a screenplay by Matthew Kingshott and Brian Shea, the project was produced by Divine Film Studio and funded by popular media-streaming service, Machinima.com.
Premise
Set in 1985 Wisconsin, four years after the Cold War with Soviet Russia went hot, the film follows the story of Keith Prescott, a young man who is faced with the unnerving prospect of leaving his home following the spread of radioactive gas and must now confront religion and its impact on a dystopic future.

Ian Borean and Zac Kvas both portray corpses in the film.
Production
Development
Following the termination of Pelletier's Halo: Faith project, development began on a new short film.
Screenwriter Matthew Kingshott, co-writer of Saint Mary's, wrote several vastly different screenplays including "Fractured", "Promised Land" & "Last Mile", before the creative team touched on the final story in February 2012 on March 2nd with a budget of $4000, and then moved to Aurora and Stouffville before wrapping on March 4th, with the Red One camera used for the process.
Release
The film is scheduled to be released on March 31st, 2012. A trailer was released on YouTube on March 9th, 2012.
