41st Avenue (Vancouver)

41st Avenue is a busy road in Vancouver, British Columbia. The road goes from the east side of Vancouver to the west side of Vancouver, where it merges on to Marine Drive. Bus routes has two bus routes that run on this road: Bus 41 and Bus 43. Reserved lanes for express buses are being planned by TransLink and the city of Vancouver. Light rail transit may be built in the future. SkyTrain Oakridge-41st Avenue Station, a SkyTrain station on the Canada Line, is located at the intersection of 41st Avenue and Oakridge. Police shooting Vancouver police shot and killed a man with schizophrenia at the intersection of 41st Avenue and Knight Street on November 22, 2014. Pollution from dry cleaning company Land beneath a shopping centre at Cambie and 41st was reportedly contaminated with chemicals improperly disposed of by a dry cleaner. |
