3rd sonic boom six album

City Of Theives is the upcoming 3rd studio album by the Manchester ska/punk band Sonic Boom Six, said to be released around Feb 2009. Barney Boom (bass) has this to say about the upcoming album on the SB6 forum : "Yeah, new albums definitely more heavy and banging. There are two definite Hip-hop tunes in there. Lots of jungly rappy rock stuff and some straight-up posi hardcore punk. Erm, a bit of dubsteppy stuff, straight-up ska tune with Rankin Roger set to be on it. There's a bizarre space-rock Drum and Bass thing Ben wrote that sounds like Mad Capsule Markets and a jungle punk thing I wrote that sounds very early Boom which is gonna be a favourite I think. It's gonna be less conventional rock than AP, but have a similar level of production. It's gonna be a lot darker, it's a concept album. The provisional title is 'City of Thieves'."
