3MB

3MB (also known as Three Man Band) is a professional wrestling stable in WWE consisting of Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal. The group debuted on the September 21, 2012 episode of SmackDown, where McIntyre and Mahal helped Slater attack Brodus Clay during the match. The trio later changed their look to resemble a rock band, with Slater claiming to be the "lead singer" of the group.
History
On the September 21, 2012 episode of SmackDown, during Slater's match with Brodus Clay, McIntyre and Mahal would interfere and help Slater assault Clay, resulting in Slater losing by disqualification, and would do the same again on the October 1 episode of Raw, this time attacking Santino Marella. On the October 12 episode of SmackDown, Slater and Mahal, with McIntyre in their corner, defeated Marella and Zack Ryder. On the October 15 episode of Raw, the trio, debuting a new rock band look, would attack Marella and Ryder after their match with The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) and would then announce themselves as Three Man Band, later shortened to 3MB. McIntyre would go on to take time off for his mothers funeral, but returned for the Survivor Series preshow, which saw Mahal and Slater once again defeat Marella and Ryder, the returning McIntyre in their corner.
At , 3MB, after being guests on MizTV and harassing the Spanish announce team, challenged The Miz and Alberto Del Rio to find a partner for six-man tag team match later that night. Miz would announce their partner to be the Brooklyn Brawler, and would go on to defeat 3MB. The following night on Raw, 3MB was once again defeated by Miz and Del Rio, this time with them teaming up with Tommy Dreamer. On the December 31 episode of Raw, Slater and McIntyre challenged Team Hell No (Daniel Bryan and Kane) for the WWE Tag Team Championship in a losing effort. On the January 14, 2013, 20th Anniversary episode of Raw, 3MB defeated Sheamus in an Over the Top Rope Challenge, after Sheamus was eliminated by Slater, with assists from Mahal and McIntyre, who were both eliminated by Sheamus. At , 3MB all competed in the Royal Rumble match, where all three members were unsuccessful in winning.
3MB also appeared in NXT Wrestling, where Slater and McIntyre competed in the NXT Tag Team Championship tournament, but were defeated in the first round by Adrian Neville and Oliver Grey. On the April 12 episode of SmackDown, in an attempt to make a name for themselves, 3MB tried to attack Triple H, but where attacked themselves by The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns). On the April 15 episode of Raw, 3MB called out The Shield, but Brock Lesnar came out instead and attacked the group, delivering the F-5 to Slater twice on the barricade. On the April 29 episode of Raw, 3MB attacked The Shield, but The Shield would quickly turn the tables on them. This resulted in Team Hell No chasing away The Shield, before attacking 3MB themselves.
