24 Oras Weekend (24
Hours Weekend) is the flagship
national network news broadcast
of GMA Network every
weekend. It is a weekly national
newscast which airs in at
5:00PM-5:45PM (Sat) and 5:30-6:15PM (Sun) (PST).
History
Before Launch of Weekend Edition of 24 Oras the anchors of news Mel and Mike (Former Anchors of Saksi form 1995-2004,Mike form 1996-1998,Mel.)

Before the launch of the weekend
edition, 24 Oras occasionally
appeared on weekends during
special coverage (e.g., typoons
Ondoy and Pepeng, and the
Maguindanao massacre) and the
weekend before the elections
instead of airing GMA Weekend
Report or Flash Report Special
Edition from 2004−07 which also
anchored by Enriquez and Tiangco
(So have been called
Tutok:Eleksyon 2004/2007. The
two also appeared in Sunday
edition before the 2010 and 2013
elections). Notable guest anchors
(once appeared) for the special
edition were Saksi anchors Arnold
Clavio and Vicky Morales.
On February 21, 2010, the weekend
edition of 24 Oras was launched,
replacing GMA Weekend Report.
Former Balitanghali anchor Pia
Arcangel and Reporter's Notebook
host Jiggy Manicad were the
anchors of weekend edition.
