2 card spy

Two Card Spy is a type of poker similar to Texas Hold 'Em. It originated among the miners in the Californian Gold Rush and is still played today. It is rarely played in casino's and has declined in popularity of the last few dacades.
Gameplay
The game uses a common deck of playing cards without jokers. Each player recieves 2 playing cards to set on the table in front of him or her. The first card is faced down and the second is faced up. Each player looks at the face down card of the player on his or her right. Starting with the player to the right of the dealer, each player bets. After the betting, the dealer kills a card and lays 2 cards face up in the middle of the table. Another round of betting begins with the player to the right of the dealer. Once again, a card is killed and 2 more cards are added. There is one more final round of betting followed by the dealer killing one last card and placing another face up card on the table. Each player flips his or her cards face up and the winner takes the pot.
No particular monetary amounts are used as the game is mainly played in private parties.
