The 1939-40 Maltese FA Trophy was the 6th edition of the football cup competition, the FA Trophy. Melita were the defending champions, but lost in the final to Sliema Wanderers. First round Eight first-round matches were played on 6, 7, 13, and 14 April 1940. A replay match was played on 10 and 17 April 1940 Quater Finals The Quarter Finals matches were played on 4 and 5 May 1940. A replay match was played on 8, 9, and 12 May 1940 Semi-finals Semi-final matches were played on 12 and 19 May 1940 Final The final was played on 26 May 1940. |
